The gleeful political opportunism of Obama at the onset of the financial crisis revealed a contempt for our free market system that gave us the world’s most competitive economy. This was followed up by attempts by Democrats to sneak money into the bailout bill to fund the election fraud and extortion groups working for his campaign under the auspices of legitimate voter registration. Not only did this congress help create the financial meltdown, the president-elect accepted money from one of the largest perpetrators. If the media continues to carry water for Democrats with it's blatant manipulation of our political process, they will make the transformation of Iraq into Vietnam seem like a small notch on their bedpost. Barack Obama will not be soiled by Blagogate thus confirming suspicions that Blagojevich purposely implicated himself on tape to distance the President from the cesspool he came from. Blagojevich knew he was going down and knows how to cut deals. The isolation of Illinois corruption to just the Governor’s office alone will be complete when the new administration leans on the Illinois prosecutors upon taking office. Not only will the media never have vetted Obama, the absence of congressional culpability for the failures since 2006 will be but a blip on the radar. Claiming ignorance of the corruption in Illinois will suffice until the media feels scorned by the perception of arrogance that I pray arises. Then we might hear questions asking about the abortion genocide of black babies or his votes for partial birth abortions. With allegations of corruption almost certain to implicate members of his cabinet (Richardson, Emanuel), it would seem what has taken place on a national scale is one of the largest political hoaxes in American history. It provides a glimpse of who the real America haters are that have laid bare the utter ignorance of it's inhabitants for the world to see. Having said all that, I still hope that this President is somehow able to right the ship. I hope that America can get back on course and lead with the courage of conviction as the beacon other nations wish to emulate.
